The general admissions qualifications for all CSU Doctorate in Educational Leadership programs were set by the CSU Chancellor’s Office and related legislation. The following are required qualifications:
The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership may admit only candidates who meet the academic requirements for the Ed.D. Program and who possess personal qualities and professional experiences that suggest a strong potential for success as doctoral candidates and as educational leaders. Meeting the minimum requirements qualifies an individual for consideration, but does not guarantee admission to the Program. Admission will be granted on a competitive basis.
The current doctoral fee for students is $6,342.50 per semester, per CSU directive. This comes to an eight-semester total of $50,740. When students enroll in the CODEL courses, they will pay the established student campus fees at the time of enrollment each semester ($373 per semester). In addition, the annual cost for summer residencies is estimated to be $450 per summer, for a three-year total of $1350, bringing the total program cost to $55,090. (Note: All fees are subject to change).
